Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop Challenge

Happy Tuesday!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOO excited about this blog hop. My mom asked me if I was going to do the blog hop this month and I asked her what was the challenge and when she said it was to use felt, I couldn't wait to figure something to do. Then I decided that I wanted to do something different and wanted to make something for my nieces. So headbands came to mind. I can only imagine their faces when they get these in the mail. Today, I thought about making matching headbands for their dolls. So, I will be making those too before I mail these out :)

This one, I used True Black and White. Sooo pretty. The headband had some funky material over it so I ripped it off and added Scor-Tape to both sides and wrapped PTI white ribbon around it. The base of the embellishment is the Mat Stack 2, the flowers are the Beautiful Blooms die. The middle black flower is four of the flowers and folded to make it poofy. It is finished off with a black flower button. Oh, and the little white dots on each side of the Mat Stack 2 die is the centers from the Eyelet die. I so couldn't just throw those away :)

Next up.......
......is Raspberry Fizz and White. SOOOO bright in person. I wrapped the headband with some sheer ribbon and added the Eyelet die in white. I again used the Beautiful Blooms dies and finished it off with a white button.

I can not wait to do the smaller versions for their dolls. I hope you enjoyed my project. I am off to "hop" around and check out all your projects!!!

Thanks for stopping by :)

  50. HI Tanya.

Yes she does need more books. The last I heard she had confirmed 60 quests but expecting more around 80. Its crazy!

I miss hanging out too. Maybe we can go to a crop up here sometime at the friends house. I have never been but it would be fun. They do a bbq and have stuff for sale. It is a bunch of the ladies that worked at the LSS and a few of their friends. Still wont be the same has doing a class with Jess but it would still be fun.
