3 in 1 Challenge Card :)

*****THIRD POST FOR TODAY, PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE ALL OF THEM*****

WhooooooHooooooo......I put 3 different challenges into 1 card :) I usually always do 1 card for each challenge, but this week has been crazy, so I was determined to combine as many challenges as possible, LOL!!!!

The first challenge is over at 365 Cards. This challenge is called "Leaf It Up", you have to put a "leaf" onto your project.

The second challenge is over at The Pink Elephant. This challenge was a sketch. I really like this sketch. I am going to have to play around with it some more later. I was thinking of more ideas with this sketch but would not work with my images.

The third and final challenge is over at Caardvarks. For this challenge you had to use a tree on your project :)

I think that sometimes it is harder to combine challenges. You have more to consider and making it work sometimes is hard. I really like how this one turned out. I crochet the pink flowers to match my Raspberry Fizz cardstock from PaperTrey Ink. The tree is also from Papertrey Ink.

I hope you like how it turned out as much as I do. See you all tomorrow, it is FRIDAY!!!!!

I wanted to share that I found some blog candy over at Missy's Creative Corner, make sure you stop by and enter!!!!!

Just A Little Note To Say..........

Hello all!!!!!

This morning I wanted to show you a card that I made a few weeks ago. I am working on a card for a challenge but was unable to finish it cause my husband and I went to our nephews T-ball game yesterday evening.

I did not want to leave you hanging with nothing to see :) I know I used a sketch from a blog that I read, but for the life of me I can not find it. If you recognize it, please let me know so I can update this post.

The designer paper, was a bunch that I got and I cut it all down from the 12x12 it came in to 6x6. Crazy me did not write down where it came from. Man, I am totally lost on this card, but I liked it :)

I will be back later today with the challenge card. See you in awhile.

Another challenge card :)

WhoooooHooooo, it is Wednesday :) I actually like Wednesdays, the rest of the week goes by fast after today, LOL!!!!!

Today I have a card for you that I made for a challenge over at Copic Creations.

I started with the jeans and purple seemed to match perfectly.

The background, I punched out 1 1/4" squares and alternated the light and dark purple. I actually wanted to add stitches in between the squares but forgot that I adhered them down to the base and I did not want the thread to go into the inside of the card so I added dots with my glitter pen to add some sparkle. Just for a finishing touch, I added Prima flowers.

I hope you like the card and have a good day today :)

Hello, Fireman Ian

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this cute Ian.

This card I made for 2 different challenges :)

The first one is the color challenge from Color Throwdown,
and the second is the sketch from Friday Sketchers.

The colors are black, red and yellow. As soon as I saw the colors, I knew I had to use the Fireman Ian from The Greeting Farm.

I actually made two of these, one for each of my nephews that live close to me. I get them alot and they LOVE to spend time at Uncle Aaron and Aunt Tanya's house :) My daughter has lots of practice for a play she is doing at school, so getting up there to see them for my nephews T-ball games, is gonna be rouch for a few weeks, so I wanted to send them each a card just to say "Hi". I can't wait until they get them :)

I hope you all have a good Tuesday!!!!

Monochromatic Color Challenge

Hello!!!!! I am very sorry I have been missing this past week. Many things were going on last week.

Today, I have my card for the Guest Designer Spot over at Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is monochromatic. Ok, so if you know me, pink is sooooo my color, so of course I had to use shades of pink :)

I really like this image, she is too cute. I know one of my nieces will be getting this card in the mail soon!!!

Make sure you stop by the Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog and participate in this challenge. It is alot of fun.

With this card comes the end to my Guest Designer Spot, which I am bummed about. Whimsy images are so fun to use and you can do so many different things with them. I want to thank Denise for this opportunity. I had a BLAST, and can't wait to see what the rest of the design team comes up with!!!

THANKS AGAIN DENISE!!!!!!

T-Ball

Hello!!!!!!

I hope you all had a good weekend :) Mine was crazy, actually my legs hurt so bad that walking was a major obstacle. It is really crazy how a Wii-Fit can do that, hehehehe.

Today is my nephews first T-Ball game. He is sooooo excited about playing and I am just happy that I get to watch him. I thought I would make him a little "Good Luck" gift to give to him before the game, and trust me this time I am leaving EARLY!!!!! I missed his opening ceremony and I was bummed and now he is telling me that I need to make sure and leave early to be there on time today, LOL!!!

The picture I took back at my sisters house. Too cute :)

The frame is a dollar frame from Michael's and I painted it all white with acrylic paint. I was trying to figure out how to made the stitching on the ball and it clicked, I have red liquid applique, whooooohooooo. So after letting it dry for more than 24 hours, I heated it with the heat gun and poof, instant stitching feeling :)

Now, after I stamped the Giants on the frame, I realized that maybe I should have just put his name so that each year he could change it out. Ummmm, that was soooo not coming off, hehehe. So now it is a memory of his first T-Ball experience. I also coated the whole frame with Mod-podge and the little bat and ball in the corner was from Michaels.

Ok, so I am off now. I need to get lots of work done, get my daughter early from school, not liking those min. days right now and make potato salad that my nephew requested for dinner after the game and then off to watch him play.

I hope you have a good start of the week and I will see you tomorrow :)

WhooooHoooo, I am soo looking forward to the weekend. Work has been CRAZY so I am looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend to craft. I hope everyone will get a chance to craft also, I find it very therapeutic :)

Today I wanted to show you a card that I made when my sister had her baby boy. She has two girls and has finally got her boy!!!

I know I used a sketch from someones blog, but for the life of me I can not find it. I paper pieced the sailboat and I hand cut a template for the waves and I used my Copic Air Compressor to airbrush the waves under the boat. It looks so cute in person. It was just the right touch for this card.

I used PaperTrey Ink for everything on this card :) The Dew Drops are from Stamping Bella.

See you tomorrow, I have a really cute project to show you tomorrow ;)

Club Anya Blog Hop

Welcome!!!!!!

I am so excited that I was able to join in on this Blog Hop. I just rec'd my Anya stamps from The Greeting Farm and I so wanted to ink these cuties up right away :)

If you want to know all the particulars regarding Club Anya's Blog Hop, please make sure you check it out here. I just saw that there are over 60 participants, so grab some munchies and a drink and enjoy!!!!!

When I saw this image, it reminded me of my daughter. Strange, since I have other sets that do the same :) I knew I wanted a black and white theme, reason being, the little black and white flower is a sticker that I received as a Thank You in my order with these stamps, so it was fitting to use it I thought. I wanted an accent color to really add some pop to my card, and teal became that color. The designer paper on the base of the card, is actually came black and white and I used my Copic to color them all in to matchy matchy with the rest of the color scheme. Now, my husband thought I was crazy sitting there watching tv and coloring all these little flowers, but I sooo think it was worth it ;)

I hope you like my card, I had alot of fun making it. Be sure to stop by all the blogs tonight and see what everyone came up with, I know I am.

Hope Your Birthday Is A Big Splash!!!!!!!

Happy Monday!!!! I can now finally get to tell you about some exciting news!!! I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps for the month of April. I am so honored to have been asked :)

The challenge for today over at Whimsy Stamps Challenge Blog is Occasion Celebrations. Go check this wonderful blog out and participate, trust me it is fun!!!

This is what I came up with. A card and little gift :)
I used Whimsy Stamp "Narwhal", I love this stamp, he is too cute :) When I sat down to really think about how I wanted to create a card for this theme, I kept thinking that this cute Narwhal needed to really make a "Splash"!!!!

I have the back of him taped using a dimensional to a penny so he can slide down and splash into the waves :)
I had it planned different in my head, but I really liked how it turned out, and I know whoever actually gets this card in the mail, they are gonna love it too.
I hope you really enjoyed my take on this theme and I can't wait to do the next theme in 2 weeks :)

Interruption In The Normal Program :)

Hello, I am sorry about being missing yesterday, I had NO internet for a whole 24 hours :( So not good. It is actually unbelievable how much the internet means to our everyday lives and when you don't have it, even for a day, you feel lost and confused.

That is what happened to us yesterday. I had no idea what to do and all the dsl company could say was that they crossed our lines with someone else and they had no idea how to fix it. Sad I tell ya. So, this morning was another phone call to them and I FINALLY got a person that knew what he was doing and fixed it n 30 min :)

WhoooooHooooooo, I am back up and running. I will have something to share with you a little later. I actually have TONS of work to catch up on from yesterday.

See you soon!!!!

Same But Different :)

Hello, it is Monday :) Not that I am really fond of Monday's, but the way I look at it is that if I can get Monday's over quick then I am set for the rest of the week, hehehehehe!!!

Today, I have 2 cards to show you. I LOVE them. I think they came out really cute. I started with the designer paper and then they just evolved. I thought the black and pink combo worked well and then I just did the opposite for the second card.

As I typed this up I just realized that these cards were made with completely PaperTrey Ink :)

Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day!!!!

Friday Sketchers #46

Hello Everyone!!!! I hope your weekend has been good. Here we have been relaxing and crafting alot. My grandmother is staying with us for the week, so my grandma, daughter and I have been talking and crafting together.

Today I have another card I have made using a sketch from Friday Sketchers. Lately my mojo just has not been here. I have no idea where it went, but it has disappeared, so challenges and sketches have really helped.

For this card I used a Whimsy Stamp called "Narwhal Whale". I think it is too cute. I have always thought that they were a fantasy animal, but my husband proved me wrong and showed me that they are real animals. So cool, now if I can actually see one that would be awesome :)

I colored it in with my Copics and used my new pack of patterned paper called "Citrus".

Card Info:
*PaperTrey Ink-white cardstock, Simple Little Things stamp set, Ripe Avocado ink
*Whimsy Stamps-Narwhal Whale stamp
*DCWV-Citrus Matstack patterned paper
*Copic Markers-0, N0, N4, N6, E34
*Stamping Bella, circle embellishments
*Memento-Tuxedo Black Ink

Smile

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. Nothing much planned here, just relaxing and some crafting :) I love days like this.

My sister found a really cool challenge blog called "Color Throwdown". This is my first attempt of the color challenge that is sponsored by Our Craft Lounge.

The colors that we were suppose to use are, Pink, Orange, & Turquoise. I really love bright colors, and use them alot, so I figured this challenge was going to be easy peasy for me, but nope not at all. I have no idea what it was, but it was actually difficult.

This is my end result, I actually like it. I used my Copics to color in Anna Mae and to airbrush the ground under her. I don't use my air compressor as much as I should, trust me, I sooo should, that thing is AWESOME!!!!!! I am not sure if you really see it or not, but the designer paper, some of the dots were white but I used my Copic marker and colored them turquoise. So it made it all matchy matchy :)

If you get a chance, go check out the challenge site and participate. It was alot of fun and I can not wait until the next challenge.

Card Info:
*PaperTrey Ink-white cardstock
*Copics-E00, RV14, YR68, BG07, E27, E55
*Prima-flowers
*Brads-unknown

Good Luck :)

Happy Friday!!!!!

I know St. Patrick's Day is over, but I am thinking I can really use these "Good Luck" cards for anyone to wish good luck.

Stamping Bella's are so fun to color and I should really get them out more and color :)

In magazines lately, I have seen lots of crochet flowers and I soooo wanted some. I decided that I was going to sit down a make some of my own. I know these do not look like flowers, trust me I made TONS, you will see those soon. I wanted 4-Leaf Clovers, so cute, much cuter in person.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy your Friday and you have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!!

Hi Chickie!!!!

Hi Chickie!!!

"Chickie" is so my word for awhile now and when I found out that it was in Handwritten Notes from PaperTrey Ink, I HAD to get it :) Actually for this card I put two different stamps together. Hi-ya! and Thanks, Chickie.

I just got some new designer paper from Stampin Up called Raspberry Tart and of course had to open it right away!!! I LOVE pink and I could not let it just sit there all alone with out putting it on a card right away, LOL!!!

This card a very simple, just the card base, the layer of designer paper, ribbon and the sentiment block, I also added some Shimmerz around both layers of the sentiment block. Sometimes I really enjoy the simple ones, plus I did not want to cover yup this wonderful designer paper. I could not let myself to that :)

Card Info:
*PaperTrey Ink-White Cardstock, Ripe Avocado Ribbon, Handwritten Stamp Set, Guide Lines 2 Stamp Set
*Stampin Up-Raspberry Tart Designer Paper, In Color Cardstock
